El papel activo de la subjetividad en la apropiación, recepción, percepción y modificación de la realidad empírica que se conoce, ha estado presente en la filosofía desde la Modernidad. La investigación de los fenómenos sociales que se manifiestan a través de la praxis social del hombre, se distinguen por su esencia y su apariencia. En el presente artículo se analizan algunos aspectos referentes a la subjetividad y su papel activo en la investigación sobre la tecnología digital. Así, se enfocan los efectos sociales y culturales de la técnica y las rutinas de uso de los usuarios en las relaciones que establecen en el espacio público. Para ello, se acentúa la relevancia de los términos apropiación, participación y subjetividad en correspondencia con el uso de aparatos técnicos. De igual manera, se analizan algunos procesos e interacciones que conllevan en sí efectos simbólicos para las relaciones políticas, culturales y psicológicas en el entorno digital.

The active role of the subjectivity in the appropriation, reception, perception and modification of an empirical reality to be known, has been present in philosophy since the Modernity. The investigation of the social phenomena manifested through the human being’s social praxis distinguishes itself by their essence and appearance. The article analyses some aspects concerning the subjectivity and its active role in the research of digital technology. Thus, it focuses on the social and cultural effects of technique and the user-defined routines within the relations they establish in the public sphere. To achieve this goal, the article emphasizes the relevance of the terms appropriation, participation and subjectivity in connection with technical devices. Some cultural processes and social interactions will be highlighted to understand their symbolic effects on political, cultural and psychological relations in the digital environment.
