El artículo 463-6 del Código civil de Cataluña regula el derecho de adquisición preferente de los coherederos cuando alguno de ellos trasmite a título oneroso su cuota hereditaria. La regulación dista de ser completa y plantea diversas cuestiones que se intentan resolver mediante el recurso al derecho comparado.

Articte 463-6 of the Civil Code of Catalonia rules hereditary pre-emption. The right of pre-emption entitles the coheirs to dislodge a purchaser when one heir purports an onerous transfer of his hereditary share. However, the regulation is far from complete and there is a number of questions that are analysed from a comparative perspective.
