    From a reader’s job for Les Éditions deMinuit in 1946 to the head of La NRF in 1977, Georges Lambrichs has known how to make his way. He berthed his ship for thirty years rue Sébastien-Bottin to be in charge, at Gallimard’s, of the series « Le Chemin », a genuine literary laboratory and the place of a collective adventure. The chosen pupil of Jean Paulhan, he followed in his footsteps, all senses alert, in order to prolong a certain idea of literature and a way of doing things.

    D’un emploi de lecteur aux Éditions de Minuit en 1946, jusqu’à la direction de la NRF en 1977, Georges Lambrichs a su mener sa barque jusqu’au quai Voltaire. Il l’amarra trente ans durant rue Sébastien-Bottin, pour diriger chez Gallimard la collection « Le Chemin », véritable laboratoire littéraire et lieu d’une aventure collective. Élève et élu de Jean Paulhan, il suivit ses traces, les sens en éveil, afin de prolonger une certaine idée de la littérature et une façon de faire.
