Resumen de Dialéctica y Retórica en Arendt, o sobre el “error” de Sócrates

El presente artículo analiza las vinculaciones entre Dialéctica y Retórica en Arendt, a partir del capítulo primero de La promesa de la Política, y su relación con lo que la autora alemana entendió como un error de Sócrates, al pretender dirigirse hacia sus jueces, con una metodología de lenguaje inapropiada para sus objetivos. Principalmente, el análisis efectuado por Arendt se focalizó en la clasificación del discurso de Sócrates, en la Apología de Sócrates. El motivo por el cual nos resulta significativo recuperar sus palabras, está relacionado directamente con un cambio de enfoque y con la modificación del estatus provisorio asignado a Sócrates, en un artículo anterior titulado Sócrates y su relación con las cuatro formas discursivas de la antigüedad. Situaciones de umbral, el que ha tenido por objeto analizar la relación entre la clasificación discursiva de la Antigüedad, desde el criterio de Foucault, y el discurso socrático, según registros de la Apología platónica. La idea que guía el presente artículo, por lo tanto, consiste en revisar cómo influye lo trabajado por Arendt, en el rótulo de parresiasta con el que se identificó a Sócrates, a partir de lecturas foucaultianas, que hoy es menester reevaluar a través de los aportes de Arendt. En virtud de aquello, el trabajo se centra en el análisis del Capítulo I de La promesa de la Política, con remisiones al Capítulo II de La vida del Espíritu, sin perjuicio del recurso a otras fuentes secundarias con contribuciones en el tema estudiado.

The present article analyses the relations between Dialectics and Rhetoric in Arendt, since the first chapter of The promise of Politics, and its relation with that the german writer understood like a Socrates´ mistake, when he expected to talk to his Judges, with a language methodology inappropriate for his objectives. Mostly, the analysis made by Arendt was focused in the classification of the Socrates´ speech, on the Apology of Socrates. The reason why is meaningful for us to recover her words, is certainly connected with a change of perspective and with an alteration of the provisional status assigned to Socrates, in a previous article titled Socrates and his relations with the four types of speech in the Antiquity. Symbols´ beginnings, that was got for object to analyse the connections between the speech classification of the Antiquity, since the Foucault´s perspective, and the Socratic speech, according to the registers of the Platonic Apology. The idea which guides the present article, therefore, consist of review how affects the worked by Arendt, in the sign of the parresiastic wich Socrates was identified with, since the foucaultianian reads, what today are necessary to reapprise through the Arendt´s contributions. By virtue of that, the work makes focus in the analysis on the first chapter of The promise of Politics, with references to the second chapter of the Life of Mind, however the resource to the others secondaries sources with efforts on the studied subject.
