En este artículo propongo una lectura del proyecto político e intelectual de José Carlos Mariátegui, una de las contribuciones más originales y desconocidas del pensamientorevolucionariolatinoamericanoalaconstruccióndelmarxismo.Uncampoabiertodepraxisanticapitalista,ajenoatodasacralizaciónydogmatismo;horizonteabiertodelsentir,pensaryactuarenlosdesafíoscambiantesdelosescenariosdehistoricidad.El artículo señala el esfuerzo de Mariátegui para hacer del marxismo una teoría revolucionaria, que no fuera “calco ni copia, sino creación heroica” y que sirviera para construir un camino socialista en el Perú a partir de las bases materiales del comunismo indiano en diálogo crítico con las corrientes de pensamiento y acción política revolucionarias de su tiempo, planteamiento que no fue bien recibido por los organizadores latinoamericanos de la Internacional Comunista y que Mariátegui, debido a su muerte prematura, no pudo continuar y materializar.

In this article I propose a view at José Carlos Mariátegui political and intellectual project as one of the most original and unknown contributions of Latin American revolutionary thought to the construction of Marxism. An open field of anti-capitalist praxis, alien to all sacralization and dogmatism, but rather an open horizon of feeling, thinking, and acting in the changing challenges of historicity scenarios. The paper points out Mariátegui's effort to make Marxism a revolutionary theory, which was not a “copy or copy, but a heroic creation”. And which would serve to build a socialist path in Peru from the material bases of communismIndiano in critical dialogue with the revolutionary currents of thought and political action of his time, an approach that was not well-received by the Latin American organizers of the Communist International and that Mariátegui, due to his premature death, could not continue and materialize.
