Resumen de Entre o ensino e o debate: O uso do documentário “the corporation” como recurso didático na formação de administradores brasileiros

  In order to contribute to the field of management to have stimulant instruments of teaching for the manager’s undergraduate education, this article comments the utilization of a cinematographic production in classroom. Using the documentary The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power, it puts into subject (a) the corporation capacity of generate, at once, of abundance and of negative results that mainly looks for the profit and gets lost from the human and environmental needs; and (b) the profit logic as responsible for the way that corporate culture is constructed and it’s notions of social and political responsibility in the public space. Therefore, it stimulates the debate about the action of those that became the protagonists in the social organization, as well as it allows to see different world views, values, identities and ideologies found in given societies.

  Furthermore, films permit the articulation of a stimulating reference with a unique language that has intense presence in the daily life of the undergraduate students.

  Em busca de contribuir para que o campo da administração tenha instrumentos de ensino estimulantes para a formação do administrador, este artigo comenta o emprego de uma produção cinematográfica em sala de aula. Tendo por referência o documentário The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power, coloca-se em questão (a) a organização corporativa geradora, num só tempo, de abundância e de externalizações negativas, que prioritariamente busca o lucro e se perde frente às necessidades humanas e ambientais; e (b) a lógica do lucro como responsável pelo modo como é construída a cultura corporativa e suas noções de responsabilidade social e política no espaço público. Assim, estimula o debate sobre a ação daqueles que se tornaram os atores protagonistas na organização social, assim como permite ve as articuladas visões de mundo, os valores, as identidades e ideologias presentes em determinadas sociedades. Ademais, os filmes permitem a articulação de uma referência estimulante e dotada de uma linguagem própria e de intensa presença no cotidiano dos alunos de graduação.
