Resumen de El proceso formativo del sistema sociocultural mapuche

A lo largo de los siglos se han propuesto diferentes teorías para tratar de dilucidar la procedencia de los mapuches, sin considerar, generalmente, la posibilidad de que este pueblo fuese oriundo del actual territorio chileno. En el presente trabajo exponemos dichas teorías para, finalmente, analizar con los actuales conocimientos científicos el proceso formativo del sistema sociocultural mapuche.

Along the centuriesdifferent theories have been proposed to elucidate the origin of the mapuche people, without considering, usually, the possibility that they were originally from the current chilean territory. In the present paper we expose these theories to, finally, analyze with the current scientific knowledge the formative process of the mapuche socio-cultural system.
