El texto propone reconsiderar la figura de Aranguren, no sólo como líder carismático, sino también como impulsor de un patrón filosófico alternativo al oficial. Se contextualiza su trabajo en discusión con el pensamiento nacional-católico y la defensa de un modelo de filosofía ligada a la circunstancia, en la línea de la tradición orteguiana. Del enfoque aranguniano resulta una cuidada reconstrucción de la cultura tecnócrata, que nos acerca a los debates intelectuales del tardofranquismo y a la impronta tanto política como moral de la contestación juvenil en la consecución democrática en España.

The text proposes to reconsider the figure of Aranguren, not only as a charismatic leader, but also as promoter of an alternative philosophical pattern to the official one. His work is contextualized in discussions with national-Catholic thinking and the defense of a model of philosophy linked to the circumstances in line with the Orteguian tradition. The Arangunian approach is a careful reconstruction of the technocratic culture, which brings us closer to the intellectual debates of late Francoism and to the political and moral imprint of the youth revolt in the achievement of democracy in Spain.
