    En este artículo analizamos la relación entre filosofía, literatura y arte en la obra de Iris Murdoch, prestando especial atención a la función de la filosofía en su obra narrativa, las diferencias y semejanzas entre literatura y filosofía según sus propios planteamientos teóricos, así como sus reflexiones estéticas sobre la naturaleza de la literatura y el arte en relación con la idea de Bien, central en su visión platónica de la ética y de la realidad. Su doble condición de novelista y filósofa conforma un punto de vista privilegiado para este tipo de reflexiones en que tanto filosofía y literatura como ética y estética se dan la mano.

    In this article we analyze the relationship between philosophy, literature, and art in the work of Iris Murdoch, paying special attention to the role that philosophy plays in her narrative work, the differences and similarities between literature and philosophy according to her own theoretical approaches, as well as her aesthetic reflections on the essence of literature and art in connection with the idea of Good, central to her Platonic vision of ethics and reality. Her double status as a novelist and philosopher constitutes a privileged point of view for this type of reflection in which both philosophy and literature, as well as ethics and aesthetics, go hand in hand.
