A partir de l’exemple de composicions musicals de diferents estils i èpoques, en aquestes pàgines abordarem alguns dels aspectes amb què la música podria relacionar-se amb la noció d’ombra. Considerarem les imatges confuses o ombrívoles que pot suscitar el discurs sonor, la rellevància dels títols i dels assumptes relatius a les ombres en la interpretació de la música, i alguns gèneres tipificats que predisposen a un imaginari tenyit de clarobscurs, com ara la Lliçó de tenebres o el Nocturn.

In these pages we will broach some of the aspects with which Music could be related to the notion of Shadow, from the example of musical compositions of different styles and epoque. We will consider the confusing or bleak pictures that the sounding speech can arouse; we will also see the relevance that have the titles and issues relative to the shadows in the interpretation of Music, and some typified genres as the Darkness Lesson or the Nocturne, which predispose the listener to an imaginary tinged with chiaroscuros.
