    O estudo analisa a diversidade cultural nas organizações e, em especial, a orientação sexual, considerando a problemática referente à identidade gay e à dificuldade de se promover política identitária que minimize os efeitos da discriminação por orientação sexual, mesmo que mantenha a oposição homossexual/heterossexual e a conseqüente dominação pelo mais forte. Pretende compreender as questões da identidade e da cultura gay, tendo sempre em vista a melhoria das relações de trabalho nas organizações. O trabalho analisa algumas ações que podem ser empreendidas por organizações que estejam preocupadas com o fim da discriminação por orientação sexual no espaço organizacional, valorizando a diversidade cultural no trabalho. Da mesma forma, o estudo analisa algumas alternativas de pesquisa que venham a colaborar para a discussão e a reflexão do tema no Brasil.

    The study analyzes the cultural diversity in the organizations, and mainly the sexual orientation, considering the problem regarding the gay identity and the difficulty of promoting identity politics that minimize the effects of the discrimination for sexual orientation, even if they maintain the opposition homosexual/heterosexual and the consequent dominance for the strongest. The article intends to understand the subject of identity and the gay culture, always tending in view the improvement of work relations in organizations. It analyzes some actions that can be undertaken by organizations that are concerned with the end of discrimination for sexual orientation in the organizational area, to value cultural diversity at work. In the same way, the study analyzes some alternatives that come to collaborate for discussion and reflection of the subject in Brazil.
