“Limpia, fija y da esplendor”. El Twitter de la RAE como herramienta didáctica para el estudio de la norma del español

    El objetivo de este trabajo es constatar la efectividad de Twitter como herramienta didáctica para el aprendizaje de las cuestiones relacionadas con la norma del español y la autoridad que la Real Academia Española tiene en Latinoamérica en una asignatura del grado en Filología Hispánica del último curso: Política y planificación lingüísticas del español. La metodología utilizada comprendió tres fases diferentes en las que los alumnos tuvieron que poner en práctica el trabajo autónomo, con la búsqueda individual de tweets relacionados con aspectos sociolingüísticos de la lengua española, hacer uso del aprendizaje colaborativo, a través de un debate para poner en común de los resultados, y también tuvieron que valorar el grado de efectividad de la actividad a través de una encuesta. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que Twitter es una útil herramienta para amenizar y facilitar el aprendizaje de contenidos teóricos de esta asignatura.

    The aim of this project is to verify the effective-ness of Twitter as an educational tool for learn-ing about the Spanish linguistic norm and the authority that the Royal Academy of Spanish Language has in Latin America. The activity was conducted in a subject from the degree of Span-ish Philology called Spanish language policy and planning. The methodology used consisted on three different stages. The first one, which reinforces the autonomous work of the students by searching tweets related to sociolinguistic aspects of Spanish language. The second one, which contributed to improve the collaborative learning between students in a debate in which they had to share their results. Finally, in the third stage they had to value the degree of ef-fectiveness through a survey. The results show that Twitter is an effective tool in order to make pleasant and ease the learning of the theoretical aspects of this subject
