  • Resumen
    • The epithet “god Neos Philopatôr” was used for the prince Ptolemy “Memphitês”, killed in 130 BC by his father Ptolemy VIII Euergetês II during the conflict against his mother Cleopatra II, but then introduced in the Ptolemaic dynastic cult before the amnesty decrees of 118 BC, as a sign of reconciliation. This Greek title led to different translations in Demotic, which depended on the geographical origin of the scribes.
