  En el presente trabajo hemos realizado un estudio del edificio conocido tradicionalmente como Casa Maestral de Aranjuez, que ahora llamamos CasaPalacio de recreo de los Maestres de la Orden de Santiago, y de su peculiar entorno. Dicho estudio, basado en la consulta de documentación original, nos ha permitido hacer una reconstrucción hipotética del edificio, tanto de la planta como del alzado exterior, en los siglos XIV y XV, además de su posible origen y evolución en la Alta Edad Media. Incluye también una descripción minuciosa de la orientación y distribución de las piezas interiores en cada momento histórico, utilizando la terminología original.

  In this assignment we have carried out a study on the building traditionally known as Grand Master House of Aranjuez, to which we now refer to as the leisure Palace-House of the Grand Masters of Santiago Order, and on its peculiar setting. Such study, based on the original historical documentation, has let us do a hypothetical reconstruction of the building, not only of the plan but also of the external façade during the 14th and 15th centuries, apart from its possible origin and evolution throughout the Early Middle Ages. It also includes a thorough description of the orientation and distribution of the inner items in each historical period by using the original terminology.
