Resumen de Sessant’anni ed oltre di governo autonomo della magistratura: un bilancio

Francesca Biondi Dal Monte

  • The Supreme Judicial Council, from its establishment till present times, has embodied a role that is highly differing from that imagined by the framers. The Author analyses this path through an investigation that touches upon the law and the practice. The first part of the Article focuses on the composition of the Supreme Judicial Council and on the interrelationships among its different components; the second part is dedicated to the ways in which the Supreme Judicial Council’s attributions have been exercised with respect to its compe- tences in regulating judges’ careers and in organizing judicial offices and their duties.
