El trabajo que se presenta se realizó utilizando metodología cualitativa. En él se relata la vivencia de la enfermedad de los padres. La hija, además de cuidadora familiar es enfermera, lo que la coloca en un mismo punto, desde tres perspectivas: hija, mujer y enfermera. La conjugación de estos tres elementos en la misma persona transmite un sentir que nos acerca a la parte más humana de la enfermedad: la persona arraigada en su cultura. Para resolver el enigma hay que asomarse a esa parte más oculta que son los sentimientos, aceptarlos e intentar comprenderlos. Sólo desde la comprensión de la propia necesidad, podremos entender al otro que nos necesita.

The work that one presents was realized using qualitative methodology. It is relate the experience of the parent's disease. The daughter, besides to take care informally is a nurse, which put her in the same point, from three perspectives: daughter, woman and nurse. The conjugation of these three elements in the same person transmits one to feel that brings us over to the most human part of the disease: The person established in the culture. To solve the crux is necessary to put out our part more secret: the feelings, to agree and to understand them. Only from understand of the own need, we will be able to understand other person who needs us.
