Política pública aplicada en el ejercicio de los derechos de las mujeres indígenas en contexto urbano: taller de sensibilización para una vida libre de violencia

    Los derechos humanos son inherentes a cualquier ser humano, es imperante que se hagan valer para aspirar a una mejor calidad de vida, empero no son respetados de igual forma para toda la sociedad. Hoy en día los derechos de las mujeres indígenas han sido violentados en múltiples formas, por diversos agentes e instancias; dada la situación se puede analizar la problemática desde diferentes ópticas entre ellas: la adjudicación de responsabilidad hacia las leyes y autoridades que deben ser garantes de ellos, también desde la sociedad en general, al ser los mismos individuos los principales responsables de respetarlos. Por esta razón, es preciso reflexionar, aportar y crear mecanismos en política pública aplicada que lleguen directamente a las mujeres, que permitan el acercamiento a sus derechos y garantías de una vida libre de violencia. Este reto social implica enfrentar resistencias culturales e históricas donde la violencia es aceptada y naturalizada por gran parte de la población. Por lo anterior el presente documento recopila la experiencia de talleres dirigidos a mujeres de origen indígena implementados en la ciudad de Pachuca Hidalgo, derivados de diagnóstico previo en la temática de los derechos humanos como grupo vulnerable. Tras la puesta en marcha de este ejercicio se lograron experiencias y hallazgos distintivos en la población objetivo cuyo principal logro fue que las participantes se sumarán a redes de apoyo y reconocieran sus derechos a una vida libre de violencia en el ámbito familiar, educativo y de salud.

    Human rights are inherent to any human being, it is imperative that they assert themselves to aspire to a better quality of life, but they are not respected in the same way for the whole society. Today different agents and agencies have violated the rights of indigenous women in many ways; Given the situation, the problem can be analyzed from different perspectives, including: the adjudication of responsibility towards the laws and authorities that must be guarantors of them also from the society in general, being the same individuals the main responsible to respect them. For this reason, it is necessary to reflect, contribute and create mechanisms in applied public policy that reach women directly, allowing them to approach their rights and guarantees of a life free of violence. This social challenge implies confronting cultural resistance of historically incorporated women who naturalize violence in all its forms of expression. Therefore, this document compiles the experience of a workshop implemented in the city of Pachuca Hidalgo, which is derived from a previous diagnosis in the subject of the human rights of women who are vulnerable due to their indigenous condition.

    After the launch of this exercise, distinctive experiences and findings were achieved in the target population and its main achievement was that the participants themselves joined support networks and assumed themselves as people with aspirations for change in the way they live from their gender in education, health and family
