  Analizando las imágenes captadas por una cámara ﬁja, este proyecto reconstruye la cantidad de gas lacrimógeno en el aire durante un día de las protestas de 2019 en Chile. Pero más allá de visibilizar y medir la brutalidad de la represión y el ambiente literalmente tóxico que genera, este caso también nos demuestra que las herramientas de la arquitectura sirven para mucho más que sólo diseñar edificios.

  Analyzing the images captured by a ﬁxed camera, this project manages to reconstruct the amount of tear gas present in the air on one day of the Chilean protests of 2019. But beyond making visible and measuring the brutality of the repression and the literally ‘toxic’ environment that it generates, this case also shows that architecture tools serve for much more than just designing buildings.
