Resumen de Aportes para una teología wesleyana latinoamericana: nueva creación en la gracia liberadora

Teniendo en cuenta las ideas clave del itinerario de la Teología Wesleyana en América Latina y el Caribe y del Movimiento Metodista en América Latina —desde una mirada histórico-teológica—, que ofrecimos en artículo anterior, en este ensayo y en primer lugar, planteamos brevemente la necesidad de una subjetividad alternativa desde una cristología centrada en la gracia liberadora y en la nueva creación. Son temas claves de la Teología Wesleyana que quiere hacerse desde los márgenes. Luego presentamos, a manera de agenda, desafíos e implicancias teológicas misioneras —derivadas de lo anterior— ,para la comunidades cristianas latinoamericanas en general y para las de herencia wesleyana en particular .

Taking into account the key ideas of the itinerary of Wesleyan Theology in Latin America and the Caribbean and of the Methodist Movement in Latin America -from a historicaltheological perspective-, which we offered in the previous article, in this essay and in the first place, we briefly raise the need for an alternative subjectivity from a Christology centered on liberating grace and the new creation. These are key themes of Wesleyan Theology that want to be done from the margins. Then we present, as an agenda, challenges and missionary theological implications —derived from the above— for the Latin American Christian communities in general and for those of Wesleyan heritage in particular.
