La cultura institucionalista refiere al poder que se disemina en las IES a través de aseveraciones en torno a la representación del Estado en los liderazgos. En ese sentido, el objetivo del trabajo fue especificar un modelo para el estudio del fenómeno en comento. Los resultados muestran una verticalidad estructural y unilateral que prevalece en las relaciones entre quienes toman las decisiones y quienes las ejecutan. Se advierten líneas concernientes a la comparación entre sistemas y estructuras adhocráticas y participativas.

The institutionalist culture refers to the power that is disseminated in HEIs through assertions about the representation of the State in leadership. In that sense, the objective of the work was to specify a model for the study of the phenomenon in question. The results show a structural and unilateral verticality that prevails in the relationships between those who make decisions and those who execute them. Lines concerning the comparison between adhocratic and participatory systems and structures are noted
