Resumen de Nuevas tendencias en la vertebración de Andalucía: territorio, población y familia en el siglo XXI

  Nuevas Tendencias en la Vertebración de Andalucía: Territorio, Población y Familia en el Siglo XXI, expone una reflexión sobre el modelo de sociedad hacia donde se dirige Andalucía siguiendo las tendencias de las nuevas sociedades de la información y el conocimiento. Este fenómeno supone un importante cambio tanto en nuestros valores como en nuestras estructuras sociales y económicas. El objetivo de este documento es presentar esta evolución en el panorama andaluz, que está conformando las nuevas características de la realidad de la comunidad.

  Para ello se analiza la evolución demográfica de la población andaluza por territorios, posteriormente se profundiza en algunos de los rasgos más significativos de nuestra estructura poblacional, como son la fecundidad, el envejecimiento y el impacto de estas variables en la composición de los hogares. La familia ocupa otro capítulo importante de este análisis, donde se atiende a sus principales demandas en torno a la emancipación y la conciliación de la vida laboral y privada. El estudio de la nueva ruralidad andaluza junto al impacto de las migraciones en la configuración de las nuevas urbes cierran esta visión global de la sociedad andaluza en el siglo XXI.

  El análisis de las nuevas tendencias de vertebración de Andalucía, tanto desde el punto de vista territorial como social, señala que nos enfrentamos a uno de los desafíos más importantes de nuestra reciente historia. Se debe trabajar para transformar este desafío en una oportunidad, que haga posible un mayor dinamismo de Andalucía, mayores oportunidades para jóvenes y mayores, un desarrollo sostenible junto a una mayor vertebración e impulso de las zonas rurales, asegurando y fortaleciendo nuestro sistema de bienestar.

  New Trends in the Structure of Andalusia: Territory, Population and Family in the 21st Century, presents a reflection on the model of society towards which Andalusia is heading, following the trends of the new information and knowledge societies. This phenomenon represents an important change both in our values and in our social and economic structures. The aim of this document is to present this evolution in the Andalusian panorama, which is shaping the new characteristics of the reality of the community.

  To this end, the demographic evolution of the Andalusian population is analysed by territory, followed by an in-depth analysis of some of the most significant features of our population structure, such as fertility, ageing and the impact of these variables on household composition. The family occupies another important chapter in this analysis, where its main demands are addressed in terms of emancipation and the reconciliation of work and private life. The study of the new Andalusian rurality together with the impact of migrations on the configuration of the new cities closes this global vision of Andalusian society in the 21st century.

  The analysis of the new trends in the structuring of Andalusia, both from a territorial and social point of view, indicates that we are facing one of the most important challenges of our recent history. We must work to transform this challenge into an opportunity, which will make it possible for Andalusia to become more dynamic, to provide greater opportunities for young and old, and to achieve sustainable development together with greater structuring and promotion of rural areas, ensuring and strengthening our welfare system.
