Resumen de Biofilmes e pré-embebição de sementes na germinação do araçazeiro 'Ya-cy'

  The araça tree fruit seeds present little viability time, it being necessary the adotation of pre-germinate tests for it to try avoid this problem. The aim was to evaluate the biofilm and, seeds water soaking and gibberelic acid effect in the Araçá ‘Ya-Cy’ fruit tree germination. After the seeds extracted, it were separated in two lot. The first part was submitted the water soaking treatment during y 48 hours and the second no submitted it. After, each lot was divided in three sub lot, it being realized the biofilm application in two sub lot, one used cassava starch biofilm (3%, m/v) and other cassava starch (3%, m/v) + AG3 (200 mg L-1) biofilm. The experiment was designed in completely randomized blocks, in a factorial 2 x 3 (soaking x biofilm). After 62 days, the germination percentage and emergence speed were evaluated. It is not necessary the soaking, biofilm and GA3 for Araçá ‘Ya – Cy’ fruit seed. The use of biofilm and soaking in Araçá ‘Ya – Cy’ fruit seed is not recommended because reduced the germination

  As sementes de araçazeiro apresentam curto período de viabilidade, necessitando aplicação de testes pré-germinativos para minimizar esses problemas. O objetivo foi avaliar o efeito do biofilme e da préembebição das sementes em água e em ácido giberélico sobre o vigor das sementes de araçazeiro ‘Ya-Cy’. As sementes foram divididas em dois lotes homogêneos, tendo um lote imerso em água durante 48 horas, e outro lote não. Posteriormente, cada lote foi dividido em três sub-lotes e, em dois destes realizada aplicação de biofilme composto por fécula de mandioca (3%) e por fécula de mandioca (3%) + GA3 (200 mg L-1). O experimento foi instalado em fatorial 2 x 3 (pré-embebição x biofilme). Aos 62 dias após o início do experimento, avaliaram-se a germinação e o índice de velocidade de emergência. Não é necessário a préembebição, biofilmes e ácido giberélico para sementes de araçazeiro ‘Ya-cy’. O uso de biofilmes e da pré-embebição das sementes de araçazeiro ‘Ya - Cy’ não é recomendado, pois reduziram a germinação
