A case is presented of a 36-year old female patient, healthy, athletic, with clinical and analytical factors consistent with coronavirus infection. She presented a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) that was initially positive, which later became negative. She created protective antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. However, clinically she presented a variety of symptoms that initially were of respiratory predominance and later generalized, fluctuating during months, which clearly were incapacitating for activities of the daily life. She remains in Temporary Disability eleven months after the persistent COVID-19 and neurological involvement (Guillain-Barre Syndrome).
