Resumen de Planejamento participativo e desenvolvimento comunitário: perspectivas para se pensar o turismo em comunidades rurais

  This paper deals with participatory tourism planning for rural community development. The choice was made due to the need to broaden the discussion about the theme in such a way that this planning model becomes more applied, leaving the proposal to leave the theory and show its benefits in practice. Thus, the general objective of this work was to describe the contributions of participatory tourism planning in the process of developing rural communities. The research had a qualitative character and as part of the results, it was concluded that the planning aims to guide successful interventions and when it is operationalized in a participatory way there is a chance that all the social actors involved will be benefited. The aim of this discussion is to foster reflections on the practice of integrated planning, so that all those directly and indirectly involved in the activity can actively participate in tourism-related decision-making, thus ensuring an effective practice of community participation in the development of locations.

  Este trabalho tratou sobre o planejamento participativo do turismo com vistas ao desenvolvimento comunitário rural. A escolha se deu em razão da necessidade de ampliar a discussão sobre a temática de forma que este modelo de planejamento torne-se mais aplicado, deixando que a proposta saia da teoria e mostre seus benefícios na prática. Assim, o objetivo geral deste trabalho foi descrever sobre as contribuições do planejamento turístico participativo no processo de desenvolvimento de comunidades rurais. A pesquisa teve caráter qualitativo e como parte dos resultados, chegou-se a conclusão de que o planejamento visa orientar para intervenções bem sucedidas e quando ele é operacionalizado de modo participativo há chances de todos os atores sociais envolvidos serem beneficiados. Intenta-se com esta discussão fomentar reflexões sobre a prática do planejamento integrado, de modo que todos os envolvidos, direta e indiretamente, na atividade possam participar ativamente na tomada de decisões relacionadas ao turismo, assegurando assim uma prática efetiva da participação comunitária no desenvolvimento das localidades.
