Resumen de Aliança terapêutica em terapia familiar: Teoria, investigação e prática clínica

  This article is a synthesis of the oral communication made at the XXXIX National Conference of Family Therapy in Santiago de Compostela and begins with a theoretical review of what we know about the therapeutic alliance in psychotherapy in general and in conjoint therapies (i.e. family and couple therapy) in particular. In a second moment, the main results and conclusions of the research we carried out on the therapeutic alliance with (in)voluntary families are explained, thus emphasizing what we have discovered with these empirical studies. Finally, the third part of the article consists of an integrative synthesis of implications and procedures for clinical practice, with the aim of promoting the process of coconstruction of the therapeutic alliance in family therapy with (in)voluntary clients, thus describing what we do with what we know and discover.

  Este artigo é uma síntese da comunicação oral feita nas XXXIX Jornadas Nacionais de Terapia Familiar em Santiago de Compostela e começa por apresentar, num primeiro momento, uma revisão teórica sobre o que sabemos acerca da aliança terapêutica na psicoterapia em geral e nas terapias conjuntas (i.e., na terapia familiar e de casal) em particular. Num segundo momento, são explanados os principais resultados e conclusões de investigações que realizámos sobre a aliança terapêutica com famílias (in)voluntárias, enfatizando assim o que descobrimos com esses trabalhos empíricos. Finalmente, a terceira parte do artigo consiste numa síntese integradora de implicações e procedimentos para a prática clínica, com o intuito de promover o processo de coconstrução da aliança terapêutica em terapia familiar com clientes (in)voluntários, descrevendo assim o que fazemos com o que sabemos e descobrimos.
