La historia autorizada es un recorrido a través de una serie de pinturas realizadas por artistas de género femenino que, durante años, estuvieron atribuidas a pintores de género masculino. Una situación de desigualdad sistematizada hacia la mujer en el contexto del arte que, frecuentemente, las ha relegado a papeles pasivos y sexualizados donde su práctica escasamente ha obtenido reconocimiento.

The Authorized History is a journey through a series of paintings made by female artists that, for years, were attributed to male painters. A situation of systematized inequality towards women in the context of art that has frequently relegated them to passive and sexualized roles where their practice has barely obtained recognition.
