Resumen de Integración de las TIC en las ciencias naturales para el desarrollo de las competencias: caso UPEL-IPMAR

  El presente artículo muestra los resultados de una investigación sobre las competencias que se desarrollaron con la integración pedagógica de las TIC en el proceso de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las asignaturas Ciencias Naturales I y Ciencias Naturales II del programa de Educación Integral UPEL-IPMAR. Surgió por el interés de introducir, desde la didáctica, estas herramientas tecnológicas como eje transversal, en atención a los cambios y transformación que se vienen dando en materia curricular y considerando el Documento Base del Currículo de la UPEL (2011). Esta investigación fue naturalística, un estudio de caso, de carácter crítico-interpretativo, con base en un enfoque cualitativo-etnográfico. Se utilizó el modelo TPACK, con el fin de integrar las tecnologías. El estudio evidenció el desarrollo de competencias en el manejo de las TIC: competencias cognitivas, crítica, metacognitivas, de aprendizaje significativo situado en la comprensión de los conocimientos científicos de las ciencias naturales.

  This article shows the results of a research on the competences developed with the pedagogical integration of ICT in the teaching-learning process of the Natural Sciences I and Natural Sciences II subjects of the UPEL-IPMAR Integral Education program. This arose from the interest of introducing, from the didactics, these technological tools as a transversal axis, in attention to the changes and transformations that are taking place in curricular matter and considering the Base Document of the UPEL Curriculum (2011). The research was naturalistic, a case study, critical-interpretative, based on a qualitative-ethnographic approach. The TPACK model was used (Mishra and Koehler, 2006), in order to integrate the technologies. The study showed the development of skills in the management of ICT; cognitive, critical, metacognitive, meaningful learning skills situated in the understanding of scientific knowledge of the natural sciences.
