Resumen de Hacia una clasificación de los verbos neológicos en español: criterios para su delimitación

  Investigaciones recientes sobre neología y neologismos convergen en la necesidad de replantear los criterios que hasta ahora se han manejado para la detección de neologismos y en la priorización de unos criterios frente a otros.

  Nuestro trabajo, que adopta los parámetros de la Lingüística Cognitiva, se propone invertir el orden de estos criterios y darle mayor prominencia al psicológico: muestra cómo las capacidades cognitivas del ser humano (percepción, memoria y categorización) y su base experiencial permiten comprender cómo funciona y qué es lo que caracteriza a la categoría neologismo. Para ello, se han analizado 314 verbos neológicos formales extraídos del BOBNEO del año 2017 del IULA.

  Recent research on neology and neologisms agrees s that there is a need to reexamine the criteria that have been used to date for the detection of neologisms and to reconsider the prioritization of some criteria over others. Our work, which is located within the parameters of Cognitive Linguistics, aims to invert the order of these criteria and to give greater prominence to the psychological: our study demonstrates how the cognitive capacities of the human being (perception, memory and categorization) and its experiential base allow us to understand how neologism, as a category, operates and what is it that characterizes it. To this end we have analysed 314 formal neological verbs extracted from the BOBNEO of the year 2017 of the IULA.
