Current agriculture is based on the use of new technologies that allow reducing costs and increasing production, obtaining greater profitability from this activity. The use of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data can represent a breakthrough for agriculture in this direction. From the data recorded by a LiDAR system, dendrometric values of the farm trees can be calculated (as is already done in forest sciences). In the present study, estimation models of the variables trunk diameter and volume, crown diameter and height and maximum height of almond trees have been calculated from LiDAR data. In this way, LiDAR technology can be applied for the management of almond farms, being able to calculate the dendrometric variables mentioned above. This information is of interest to make better cultivation decisions.
