    En un afán por dar a conocer y advertir la creciente tendencia en el desarrollo de sistemas de construcción de tierra, en especial en el apartado de la recuperación e integración de cubiertas sin cimbra abovedadas que han probado a través de los siglos su eficiencia desde el punto de vista económico y bioclimático en múltiples regiones. Es por ello que en este ensayo se evoca la difusión del sistema de bóveda Nubia y de cubiertas recargadas del Bajío que, si bien son sistemas que han conferido un alto valor patrimonial a los inmuebles realizados en el pasado con estas técnicas y dadas las nuevas necesidades de habitabilidad ocasionadas por el calentamiento global, hoy en día se vuelven una fuente de aprendizaje para ser aplicadas en edificaciones contemporáneas sustentables desde una visión social, económica y amigable con el medio ambiente.

    In an effort to publicize and warn of the growing trend in the development of earthen construction systems, especially in the section on the recovery and integration of vaulted roofs without vaulted formwork that have proven their efficiency over the centuries from the economic and bioclimatic point of view in multiple regions. That is why this essay evokes the diffusion of the Nubian vault system and recharged roofs of the Bajío. In spite of being systems that have conferred a high heritage value to the properties made in the past with these techniques and given the new needs of habitability caused by global warming, today they become a source of learning to be applied in contemporary sustainable buildings from a social, economic and environmentally friendly vision.
