    El treball realitzat és un estudi sobre la composició de les aigües del Llobregat, un dels rius més importants de Catalunya, en diferents punts del curs fluvial i el tractament d’aigües en zones properes al delta per ser subministrades posteriorment als municipis propers i retornades al riu. Té per objectiu fer una valoració final de l’estat del riu (nivell de contaminació) i conèixer les funcions de la planta potabilitzadora i la planta depuradora. S’ha cercat informació sobre paràmetres físics de les aigües, la potabilització de l’aigua a la planta de Sant Joan Despí i la depuració a la planta del Baix Llobregat i s’ha realitzat una experimentació al laboratori per estudiar cada un dels paràmetres químics seleccionats prèviament.paraules clau: Clorurs, duresa, matèria orgànica, nitrats, pH, conductivitat.

    The project is an in-depth analysis on the composition of the waters of Llobregat River, one of the most important rivers in Catalonia, in different points along its course and their treatment process in stretches located next to the delta in order to supply water to the closest towns and return it to the river. The aim of this work is to give a final assessment of the levels of pollution of the river and to understand the functions of the water treatment and purifying plant. The river and the water purification and depuration in Baix Llobregat have been studied. Moreover, experiments have been carried out in the laboratory in order to study each one of the previously selected chemical parameters.keywords: Chlorides, hardness, organic matter, nitrates, pH, conductivity.
