  • Resumen
    • The Inter-Parliamentary Union is one of the organizations committed to the defence of nationalities and minorities. Why have prestigious parliamentarians and intellectuals defended this cause? For many of them, at the end of the First World War, the greatest concern was to combine the formation of the states of Europe with the consequent resurgence of nationalism and its subordination to an international organization. Not surprisingly, parliamentarians from various countries come together for personal contacts, but also for stronger cooperation among states. This article examines the role, of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the inter war period, and the relations that the Inter-Parliamentary Union maintained with the League of Nations (LN).
