Resumen de Bienestar, identidad y agencia en 3 comunidades de pescadores artesanales en el norte de Manabí, Ecuador, desde una perspectiva de Red de Actantes

El objetivo de este estudio es esbozar un panorama de la pesca artesanal en las comunidades de La Chorrera, la Playita de Coaque y Palmar, en el norte de Manabí, Ecuador, dentro del cual sea posible identificar las relaciones, además de elementos por los cuales las comunidades humanas generan su identidad y bienestar. Para esto, el estudio parte del marco conceptual de la Teoría del Actor-Red a fin de poder examinar las relaciones y actantes que conforman esta realidad. La información que da forma al análisis fue obtenida en base a dos herramientas del método etnográfico: observación participante y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Así, emergen ciertas relaciones y prácticas que, es posible concluir, llevan a pescadores artesanales y sus familias a generar su identidad y encontrar un espacio de bienestar. En estas relaciones participan ciertas figuras preeminentes: entidades como El Mar, Dios o La Suerte. En un panorama cambiante, las comunidades humanas buscan y generan estabilidad (agencia) y sentidos de lo común, con esto, el bienestar y la identidad que les permiten habitar su espacio.

This study's objective is to sketch an outlook of artisanal fishing on the communities of La Chorrera, La Playita de Coaque, and Palmar, in the north of Manabí, Ecuador. Within this, it will be possible to identify relationships and elements through which human communities generate identity and well-being. For this, the study starts from the Actor-Network conceptual framework, in order to examine actors and relationships shaping this reality. The information which bases the analysis was obtained within to processes of ethnographical fieldwork: participant observation and semi-structured interviews. Thus, certain relationships and practices emerge. These, it is possible to conclude, lead artisanal fishers and their families to generate their identity and find a space of well-being. These relationships include the participation of preeminent figures as The Sea, God, and Luck. In a changing cultural and natural landscape, human communities search for and generate stability (agency) and senses of a common world, through which they inhabit their reality.
