An approach to the furniture and hotel interior design works of Brazilian architect and designer Patricia Anastassiadis allows us to show her production dichotomies -local-global, craftsmanship-industry and exclusivity-sustainability- that, fused together, guide her creations. This paper aims to analyze how the fusion of these apparently opposing concepts gives singularity and contemporaneity to the objects and projects created by Anastassiadis, which give her a space in today's crowded world of design. To support this hypothesis, selected pieces of furniture have been created in collaboration with Ornare and Artefacto industries, where the conflict between autochthonous and international, the relationship between artisanal processes and industrial technology and the commitment to sustainability, occur constantly. All these elements translate into a personal form of exclusivity and luxury, highlighted in the interior design of the Tangará Palace Hotel and Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro Hotel.
