En este trabajo hacemos una aproximación a los intentos de construir una nueva capilla real en la catedral de Córdoba durante el reinado de Felipe IV. En primer lugar veremos quienes fueron los encargados de gestionar los diversos planes y los maestros arquitectos que dieron las trazas. Posteriormente nos ocuparemos de la oposición del cabildo catedralicio que, finalmente, haría naufragar el proyecto.

In this paper we make an approach to the projects of a new royal chapel in the cathedral of Córdoba during the reign of Felipe IV. We will first consider who were in charge of managing the various plans and the master architects who gave the plans, to then analyze the opposition of the cathedral chapter that would finally wreck the project.
