Resumen de Firma auténtica y firma autofalsificada: diferencias y coincidencias en el comportamiento escrito

En los últimos años se ha producido en los juzgados un incremento de solicitudes de informes periciales cuyo objeto es analizar una posible autofalsificación de firmas. Sin embargo, la investigación se ha centrado mayoritariamente en el estudio de la falsificación de la grafía en situaciones en las cuales una persona pretende suplantar la escritura de otra. En la presente investigación abordamos el estudio de la falsificación de la propia grafía con la intención de eludir un futuro compromiso legal. Para ello se utiliza una muestra de 121 individuos los cuales realizan su propia firma y una firma autofalsificada. Se analizan las variables de presión, velocidad, legibilidad y existencias de gestos tipo. Se comprueba la existencia de diferencias estadísticamente significativas en la presión, velocidad y gestos tipo, siendo la firma autofalsificada menos presionada y menos rápida que la autofalsificada y existiendo más probabilidad de aparición de gestos tipo en la firma auténtica.

In recent years, the Courts, are increase their requests of forensic handwriting analysis which aims to analyze a possible auto-simulated signatures. However, research has focused mainly on the study of handwrite simulation in situations where a person intends to simulate th e handwriting of another person. In this research, we study the auto-simulation of handwrite with the intention of avoiding a future legal commitment. The sample consisted of 121 individuals who perform their own signature and an auto-simulated signature. The variables of pressure, speed, legibility, and traits are analyzed. The existence of significant differences in pressure, speed and type gestures is found, being the auto-simulated signature less pressed and less rapid than the true signature and existing higher probability of occurrence of traits in the authentic one.
