Poder y saber, mecanismos de reproducción discursiva y fragmentación social

    El tema del discurso ha sido objeto de estudio en los últimos años; se le puede considerar como una práctica social mediante la cual los seres humanos se articulan y se reúnen. Ahora bien, el presente artículo tiene por intención reflexionar sobre el concepto de discurso a la luz de los postulados de Michel Foucault y Basil Bernstein, principalmente. Para ello, se tendrán como bases algunas obras de considerable trascendencia de los autores mencionados. Bastará decir que con la lectura de estos documentos es posible construir una representación del tema, que posteriormente será sustentada mediante las ideas puntuales de los autores. En primera instancia, se aclara el concepto de discurso y luego se establecen las relaciones directas con el poder y el saber como responsables de las divisiones sociales a partir de la construcción de códigos que circulan de manera desigual.

    The topic of speech has been an object of study in recent years. It can be considered a social practice through which humans communicate and by which they bring themselves together. The present article serves as a reflection on the concept of speech itself, principally in the light of the theories proposed by Michel Foucault and Basil Bernstein, some of whose more important works will be referenced throughout, which provide a base for this work. It suffices to say that by reading this document one may arrive at a simple understanding of the theme, which will be supplemented by timely ideas from the aforementioned authors. First of all, the concept of speech is clarified and its direct relationship to power and knowledge is established; elements here responsible for social divisions, divisions based on the codes that circulate in an unequal manner among them.
