Resumen de Predisposición y comprensión de estudiantes de secundaria cuando resuelven problemas trigonométricos

  En torno al contenido Trigonometría, se identifican, analizan y describen los procesos involucrados, en términos de predisposición y comprensión, que estudiantes de cuarto año de secundaria manifiestan en la resolución de problemas, a partir de un trabajo metodológico cualitativo basado en las teorías de aprendizaje significativo y modelos mentales. Se advierte que los estudiantes se encuentran familiarizados con actividades mecánicas, no tanto con problemas, y que trabajan de manera aislada con respecto a los contenidos previos vinculados, recurriendo solo a los más recientes. Predominan las representaciones mentales en formato de imágenes, y de construcciones sobre ellas, así como de proposiciones en forma oral. Se concluye que existe un componente emocional, con incidencia negativa de bloqueo en los desempeños, debido a las sucesivas situaciones vividas por los estudiantes.

  Regarding the Trigonometry content, the processes involved, in terms of predisposition and understanding, that fourth year secondary school students manifest in problem solving are identified, analyzed and described, based on qualitative methodological work based on the meaningful learning theories and mental models. It is noted that students are familiar with mechanical activities, not so much with problems, and that they work in isolation with respect to the previous linked content, using only the most recent. Mental representations predominate in the format of images, and of constructions on them, as well as of propositions in oral form. It is concluded that there is an emotional component, with a negative impact on performance blocking, due to the successive situations experienced by the students.
