  Autonomía de la razón”, “congruencia entre pensamiento y vida”, “pensamiento crítico-libertador” y “pensamiento riguroso” (ideas del concepto epistémico de autenticidad) de la etapa media de la filosofía de Luis Villoro, son elementos todavía valiosos para la construcción de un “criterio epistémico” orientador en la reflexión actual sobre el sentido de la filosofía en México, en el horizonte de la filosofía Latinoamericana, frente a sus problemas fundamentales, si agregamos los principios: “ser razonables”, “hacer comunidad” y “hacer consciente la figura del mundo de la época”, de la etapa madura de su filosofía que es esencialmente ética.
