Resumen de La vida del adulto mayor, su situación, sus riesgos y condiciones de vida

    El presente trabajo identifica la situación, vida social, condiciones de vida y riesgos de las personas adultas mayores de 60 años, con la finalidad de que este conocimiento coadyuve a facilitar el diseño, planeación e implementación de políticas públicas, legislación y programas de apoyo y prevención. La información se recabó dentro del Municipio de Piedras Negras, Coahuila, y se recopilaron datos sobre temas tales como: situación en la que viven los adultos mayores; deterioro de su organismo, su situación y grado de dependencia de otras personas, su estado de funcionalidad, la asistencia que recibe, sus riesgos, distracciones, así como su estado general de salud y de los servicios de salud disponibles. Tipo de ayuda que recibe de la familia y del apoyo que los miembros de la familia reciben de ellos. Su historia laboral, la condición de actividad, ingreso familiar y las características del empleo actual, percepción y autorepresentación respecto de sus derechos y la violación de los mismos, inclusión e igualdad de oportunidades.

    Identify the lives of people, their situation, their social life, their living conditions and risks of older women over 60 years, in order to generate knowledge that helps facilitate the design, planning and implementation of public policies and programs of support and prevention, as well as facilitating the generation of jurisprudence that allows you to preserve your life and insert it into society, taking advantage of the experience you have accumulated in your life. It is an analysis of the Impact in the social, economic and political sphere within the Municipality, because it provides information on the situation in which they live, considered one of the most vulnerable sectors due to the abuse and neglect suf-fered by family members and by Society in General. The deterioration of the human organism often leads to dependence on other people, from the sporadic request for help to total dependence to carry out the most basic activities. The objective is to transmit information that allows the elderly to determine their functional status, the assistance they receive, their risks, distractions, as well as to know the general state of health and the available health services. Transfer information about the type of help that is given and received from the family, or the sup-port that family members receive from them. Provide information on the employment history, activity status, family income and characteristics of the current employ-ment of the interviewees. Provide information that its has on inclusion and equal opportunities in order to focus the attention programs and that they be expanded and modifi ed in order to guarantee the enjoyment of their social rights.
