Este trabajo es una revisión del Trabajo Fin de Estudios del autor: Guía para el percusionista rudimental, presentado en el Conservatorio Superior de Música «Rafael Orozco» de Córdoba. Busca ofrecer una guía para el percusionista interesado en introducirse en el mundo de la percusión rudimental. Para ello se hace uso de la investigación interpretativa a la hora de hablar de la técnica y del vocabulario musical común en el estilo, realizándose a su vez una pequeña revisión de la literatura con los libros, métodos y obras más usadas en la tradición de este estilo musical. Además, se acompaña de una pequeña contextualización socio-histórica de los orígenes de este género en EEUU, así como de una introducción sobre los instrumentos más usados en él. Finalmente, se expresa una breve reflexión en la que se compara la cultura estadounidense con la europea y se piensa en la aceptación que podría tener este tipo de música en nuestra sociedad y nuestros conservatorios.Guide for the rudimental percussionistAbstractThis work is a revission of the Final Degree Project by the author: Guía para el percusionista rudimental (Guide for the rudimental drummer), presented at the Conservatory of Music ‘Rafael Orozco’ in Cordoba. Finally, it is expressed a brief reflexion in which is compared the american culture and the european one, and it is thought about the acceptation of this kind of music in our society and our conservatories.
