Un año después de su separación recibe el terrible diagnóstico: Cáncer de mama. Una de las lacras más conocidas y temidas por la sociedad actual con unas secuelas por todo el mundo conocidas. La entereza con la que asume dicha enfermedad y la forma de afrontarla personalmente y con la ayuda de sus familiares más directos y amistades, ha propiciado el que probablemente su curación se haya producido antes. "Antes" a pesar de que pasa un año hasta que se le da la noticia de que ya está libre del cáncer. Un año cargado de malas noticias, paso por el quirófano, quimioterapia ininterrumpida con unos efectos secundarios devastadores y efectos psicológicos en sus hijos capaces de echar abajo a la más fuerte de las personas cabales de la tierra. Cinco años después de la feliz noticia, la pesadilla vuelve a atormentarla. Un nuevo síntoma se cierne sobre ella con la noticia mil veces temida del regreso de la enfermedad. Le ha vuelto a aparecer un bulto en el pecho.

The fortitude with which she assumes that disease and how to cope personally with the help of her family and closest friends, has given way to wire it probably has occurred before. Before that happens trough one year until she is given the news that she now is free of cancer. A tear full of bad news, step by surgery, chemotherapy side effects with a continuous and devastating psychological effects on their children, able to fear down the strongest of the genuine people on the earth. Five years after the happy news the nightmare again tormented.
A new symptom is hanging on it a thousand times to release the return of the dreaded disease. It has reappeared a lump in her breast.
