  Resumen La finalidad principal de este artículo es presentar las notas manuscritas de José Gabriel Ocampo en un ejemplar del Proyecto de Código Civil chileno de 1853 que le perteneció, y que actualmente forma parte del denominado ‘Archivo Ocampo’ en la biblioteca del Colegio de Abogados de Chile (Santiago). Se trata de dar a la luz una fuente histórica que puede contribuir a la investigación de la formación del Título XXVIII ‘De la sociedad’ del Código Civil, cuya definitiva configuración -de importantes consecuencias hasta nuestros días- sigue pendiente de estudio.

  Abstract The main purpose of this article is to present the handwritten notes of José Gabriel Ocampo in a copy of the Chilean Civil Code Project of 1853 that belonged to him, and which is currently part of the so-called ‘Ocampo Archive’ in the library of the Chilean Bar Association (Santiago). It is about giving light to a historical source that can contribute to the investigation of the formation of Title XXVIII ‘On partnership’ of the Civil Code, whose definitive configuration -with important consequences to this day- is still pending.
