El resultado del referéndum de 2016 sobre el Brexit supuso el mayor cataclismo institucional en el seno de la Unión desde su creación.
Los sindicatos no vamos a consentir ningún retroceso en el bienestar y los derechos adquiridos, como la justa movilidad o los derechos en materia de seguridad social y estaremos vigilantes en este periodo que se abre ahora.
Aspiramos a una convivencia en armonía, tal y como instituye el predicamento fundacional de la Unión Europea , y continuaremos trabajando en pro de esta armonía con el consiguiente reconocimiento y ejercicio de los deberes y derechos que nos constituyen .

The results of the 2016 Brexit referendum was the biggest institutional upheaval within the EU since its creation . Trade unions will not tolerate any regression in welfare and acquired rights , such as fair mobility or social security rights , and we will be vigilant in the period that is now opening up . We aspire to a harmonious coexistence , as instituted by the founding predicament of the EU, and we will continue working for this harmony with the consequent recognition and exercise of the duties and rights that constitute us.
