Resumen de Uso del Estándar ISO/IEC 29110 para Entrenar Estudiantes en Procesos de Ingeniería de Software

  Los ingenieros de software necesitan usar procesos en su práctica profesional con la finalidad de administrar proyectos, coordinar equipos y medir la calidad de los productos desarrollados. Aunque el aprendizaje sobre los procesos de ingeniería de software debería darse mientras los ingenieros están preparándose en la universidad, existe todavía una brecha entre lo que se aprende durante su formación y lo que necesitan para trabajar en la industria del software. Para reducir esta brecha se propone el uso del estándar ISO/IEC 29110 para entrenar estudiantes universitarios. Mediante la utilización del enfoque de investigación-acción se encontró que es posible utilizar el estándar, con modificaciones en su implementación, de tal manera que equipos pequeños de estudiantes puedan usarlo como parte de su entrenamiento como ingenieros.

  Software engineers need to use software processes during their professional practice to be able to manage projects, coordinate teams, and measure quality of developed products. Even when the learning on software engineering processes should happen while engineers are being trained in university, there is still a gap between what is learned during their undergraduate education and what is needed to work in the software industry. To reduce this gap, the authors of this paper propose the use of the ISO/IEC 29110 standard to train undergraduate students. With the use of the action-research approach, it was found that it is possible to use the standard with minor modifications in its implementation, in such a way that small teams of students are able to use it as part of their training as engineers.
