    Neste artigo, abordaremos Amílcar Cabral (1924-1973) como pensador periférico, cujas teorizações se ocuparam fundamentalmente de superar o sistema mundial que divide as regiões do globo entre centrais e periféricas. O fenômeno do imperialismo estabelece a relação desestabilizadora que o faz pensar estruturalmente em relação ao centro. Primeiramente, examinaremos o percurso formativo de Cabral, salientando as conexões com outras expressões de pensamento periférico. A seguir, analisaremos o discurso A Arma da Teoria (1966), do qual destacaremos, além dos elementos do marxismo-leninismo apropriados por Cabral ao longo da sua formação política, o diálogo com o pan-africanismo e outras vozes periféricas. Argumentaremos que as conexões estabelecidas por Cabral, por sua intensidade, acabam por ser incorporadas à sua própria voz enunciadora.

    In this article, we will discuss Amílcar Cabral (1924-1973) as a peripheral thinker, whose theories were fundamentally concerned with overcoming the world system that divides the globe into central and peripheral regions. The phenomenon of imperialism originates the destabilizing relation that leads him to think structurally in relation to the centre. First, we will examine Cabral's formative path, pointing out the connections with other expressions of peripheral thought. Next, we will analyse the discourse The Weapon of Theory (1966), from which we will highlight, along with the elements of Marxism-Leninism appropriated by Cabral throughout his political formation, the dialogue with Pan-Africanism and other peripheral voices. We will argue that the connections established by Cabral, due to their intensity, are incorporated into his own enunciating voice.
