    El ser humano durante el transcurso de la historia se posicionó como centro del medio ambiente; y dentro de esa ubicación incidió en todo lo relacionado con los recursos y vida útil del planeta, utilizando indiscriminadamente los bienes naturales, poniendo en peligro el futuro de la humanidad. Los jóvenes son la esperanza del planeta y los estudiantes universitarios son parte importante en el camino hacia el cambio de la conciencia ambiental, su conocimiento y conducta pueden coadyuvar en las proyecciones, y son claves en la protección del medio ambiente. El objetivo principal de esta investigación se centró en describir el conocimiento y la frecuencia en la conducta ambiental personal de los estudiantes de las carreras Derecho y Análisis de Sistemas Informáticos de la Universidad Tecnológica Intercontinental de Asunción, Paraguay, en el período 2019-2, con un enfoque de investigación cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal; la muestra fue probabilística y estuvo compuesta por 101 estudiantes de ambas carreras. La conclusión principal reflejó que es superior el número de estudiantes con conducta ambiental no habitual y con conducta ambiental en proceso de consolidación que los estudiantes que poseen una conducta ambiental habitual.

    The human being during the course of history has positioned himself at the centre of the environment. In this position he has affected everything related to the planet's resources and useful life by the indiscriminate use of natural assets so endangering the future of humanity. Young people are the hope of the planet, and university students are an important part on the path towards changing environmental awareness. Their knowledge and behavior can contribute so much to projections, and they are key in protecting the environment. The main objective of this research is focused on describing the knowledge of, and frequency of, personal environmental behavior of these students in the careers of Law and Computer Systems Analysis at the Intercontinental Technological University in the city of Asunción in Paraguay, during the period 2019-2020. The focus was by a quantitative research approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample was probabilistic and consisted of 101 students from both study majors mentioned above. The main conclusion reflected that the number of students with habitual environmental behavior is less than the students with unusual environmental behavior and who are in the process of consolidating that habitual environmental behavior.
