Resumen de Bachelard, incertezas e contexto pandêmico. Prelúdio a uma “filosofia da reinvenção”

The search for certainty is part of the history of thought. Modern science, founded on the mechanicism of physical laws, has determined the idea of objectivity as the source of an effective method to obtain predictability about phenomena. However, contemporary physics has established a break with this classical conception by establishing new methods and establishing the function of probability as a principle of indeterminism in the quantum world, as Bachelard explains. But the relationships of uncertainty did not remain in the microphysical domain. They also stood out in the socio-cultural domain, explains Bauman. We think that the arrival of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic reinforced the feeling of insecurity of individuals by breaking with the usual modes of existence whose modern belief in a stable and harmonious world is rooted. This article aims to highlight the problem of uncertainty in times of pandemic highlighting its origins, and to propose some elements that can contribute in the field of practical philosophy based on Bachelard's ideas. It is important to think about a “philosophy of reinvention” in times of pandemic and post-pandemic.

A procura pela certeza é parte da história do pensamento. A ciência moderna, fundada no mecanicismo das leis físicas, determinou a ideia de objetividade como fonte de um método eficaz a fim de obter previsibilidade a respeito dos fenômenos. Contudo, a física contemporânea estabeleceu uma ruptura com essa concepção clássica ao instaurar novos métodos e estabelecer a função de probabilidade como princípio do indeterminismo no mundo quântico, como esclarece Bachelard. Mas, as relações de incertezas não permaneceram no domínio microfísico. Elas se destacaram também no domínio sociocultural, explica Bauman. Pensamos que a chegada da pandemia de SARS-CoV-2 reforçou a sensação de insegurança dos indivíduos ao romper com os modos habituais de existência cuja crença moderna em um mundo estável e harmônico se encontra enraizada. Este artigo tem como objetivo destacar o problema da incerteza em tempos de pandemia evidenciando suas origens, e de propor alguns elementos que possam contribuir no domínio da filosofia prática com base nas ideias de Bachelard. Ressalta-se então que em tempos de pandemia e pós-pandemia é importante pensar em uma “filosofia da reinvenção”.
