    La condropatía de la rótula es la enfermedad o lesión del cartílago articular de la rótula que se manifiesta con dolor en la parte anterior de la rodilla. El síntoma más común es el dolor anterior de rodilla resultante del proceso inflamatorio generado por la lesión cartilaginosa. Aunque la rehabilitación con fisioterapia ayuda a reequilibrar el músculo cuádriceps, no puede minimizar los efectos localizados de la lesión en el cartílago. El ácido hialurónico es un componente principal del líquido sinovial y es uno de los principales componentes lubricantes del líquido. La inyección intraarticular de AH ácido hialurónico es una de las recomendaciones para el tratamiento de las enfermedades degenerativas de las articulaciones. La bibliografía muestra que la inyección de ácido hialurónico en el tratamiento de la condropatía rotuliana es una terapia segura, eficaz y mantenida en el tiempo.

    Chondropathy of the patella is the disease or injury of the articular cartilage of the patella that manifests with pain in the anterior part of the knee. The most common symptom is anterior knee pain resulting from the inflammatory process generated by the cartilaginous injury. Although physical therapy rehabilitation helps rebalance the quadriceps muscle, it cannot minimize the localized effects of the injury on cartilage. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of the synovial fluid and is one of the main lubricating components of the fluid. The intra-articular injection of HA hyaluronic acid is one of the recommendations for the treatment of degenerative diseases of the joints. The bibliography shows that the injection of hyaluronic acid in the treatment of patellar chondropathy is a safe, effective and sustained therapy over time.
