Resumen de Fundações de apoio: Participação nas produções acadêmicas paranaenses

  This study aimed to verify the perception of social science teachers about the support of the Foundations of Support in the academic production of university professors. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 144 teachers, and for the treatment of the data was used the Spearman correlation. From the findings, it is observed that 84.72% of the respondents know the name of the Foundation that provides resources for their institution’s research, but 52.08% never requested any support due to the process being bureaucratic and slow;

  lack of interest, opportunity and encouragement; among other reasons. It was also evidenced that there is a great barrier and a misconception by the teachers of the role of the Foundations; and that in the teachers’ view, the foundations do little to become more present and thus fulfill one of the main objectives that is to collaborate for the development of the research through the contribution of financial resources or of any other nature

  Este estudo buscou verificar a percepção dos docentes da área de ciências sociais sobre a participação das Fundações de Apoio na produção acadêmica. Com este intuito, aplicou-se um questionário junto a 144 docentes e para o tratamento dos dados utilizou-se a correlação de Spearman. Dos achados, observa-se que 84,72% dos respondentes sabem o nome da Fundação que viabiliza recursos para as pesquisas de sua instituição, porém 52,08% nunca solicitaram nenhum apoio devido ao o processo ser burocrático e moroso; pela falta de interesse, oportunidade e incentivo; entre outros motivos. Evidenciou-se ainda que há uma grande barreira e um conceito equivocado por parte dos docentes do papel das Fundações; e que na visão dos docentes, as Fundações pouco fazem para tornarem-se mais presentes e assim cumprirem com um dos principais objetivos que é colaborar para o desenvolvimento das pesquisas mediante o aporte de recursos financeiros ou de qualquer outra natureza.
